First Piece of Border Wall Is in Place… But There Is A Little Twist
The building of the wall has finally started and that is thanks to none other than Obama
A new 7-and-a-half mile long welded steel wall has been put up along the Mexican border in Naco, Arizona. Even though it’s only one piece of the extensive southern border, the construction was funded by a budget approved by President Barack Obama.
Trump is “using the current bill to get his priorities moving and put it down,” White House press secretary Sean Spicer stated in early May, according to a White House transcript, “To answer the question: It is currently being built in Naco, Arizona; Sunland Park, New Mexico; and we are going to be starting to do this in San Diego; El Paso; and Rio Grande Valley.”
The project founded for by last year’s fiscal budget, approved by Obama. It appears that Obama is fine with securing small areas of the border, but it’s wrong trying to secure the whole country.
The 18 feet high wall is supposed to stop pedestrians from crossing into the United States unimpeded. This wall is replacement of an older wall made of chain link and pieces of military landing platform.
Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly was recorded saying that “the most effective way to keep people out, to stop drugs, to stop cartels, to stop human trafficking, and to prevent illegal immigration,” as HeatStreet reported.
Even though the Democrats keep tryi- to block Trump, he is using budget signed by their loved Obama.
